Aviation Museum to reopen on limited basis starting Saturday, July 18!

To Our Museum Community and the General Public:

The Aviation Museum of N.H. plans to reopen to the public starting on Saturday, July 18. For now, this opening will be on a limited basis due to the ongoing effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, and to comply with CDC and state public health guidelines.

During the initial phase, we will open to the public on Saturdays only from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visitors are required to wear face coverings, and access to the museum will be via small group guided tours. Payment accepted by credit card only, and no public restrooms will be available. Thanks to everyone in advance for your patience as we work to eventually restore the museum's full public schedule of three days per week.

They built nine in Springfield, Massachusetts followed by a series of sportsters (monoplanes) and finally leading to the famous Gee Bee supersportster racers, one of which established a new world land-air speed record. It was flown by James Doolittle. Click here to read more about the Gee Bees.
